Easy Baking Soda And Orange Juice Mask

Baking Soda And Orange Juice Mask

There’s a lot of face care products out there and a lot of them cost a ton of money. Well, Melissa Colgan, editor of Martha Stewart’s Wedding accessories, came up with a solution that not only costs less than $1, but it’s also extremely effective. The mask is ideal for acne skin! Baking soda, especially is really useful when it comes to fighting back acne, while the orange juice will make sure to protect and tighten your skin, due to the Vitamin C!

Baking Soda And Orange Juice Mask

Ingredients Required

Not only does this take 15-20 minutes to make but the ingredients are extremely common and cheap. You just need 1 teaspoon of freshly squeezed orange juice and 1 teaspoon of baking soda

Ingredients Required

Mix The Two Ingredients Together

Use a small jar you’re going to dedicate for this. Mix them together until you get a paste like mixture. Don’t add anything else!

Spread The Mixture On Your Face

Most products require you to rub them on your face, but with this face mask, the only thing you need is to apply a thin layer. You can either stick to your face, or apply it to your neck and decolletage as well!

Relax For 20 Minutes

Now it’s the part we all love – relaxing. Be careful, however, not to talk because when the paste is dry it will flake off! Just stay in bed and watch your favorite show or movie!

Take The Mask Off

Do this my dampening your fingers in water (a tiny bit warm) and scrub your face in a circular motion. This will exfoliate the skin even better, making the mask so much more effective!

Rinse The Remaining Mask Off

Apply moisturizer afterwards! You can do it with a towel, but be careful not to press the towel too tight against your face! Afterwards, the skin will be a bit rosy.

Rinse The Remaining Mask Off

Most face care treatments either cost a fortune or are really painful to apply. This one, though, not only costs a measly half a dollar, but it also is easy to apply. Only use this treatment a maximum of 2 times a week, because the baking soda (when used in excess) can damage your skin!
