Step 1: Master Cleansing
Lemon Detox diet begins with a 10-day cleansing program that involves drinking only lemonade prepared from ingredients like lemons, cayenne pepper, maple syrup and water. This liquid combination helps in detoxifying the body by helping get rid of all the toxic build up. You need to drink at least 6 to 12 glasses of this drink daily, especially when hunger pang strikes to get impressive results.
Step 2: Salt Water Flush
After the 10 day cleanse, a salt water laxative must be taken both in the morning and evening each day for 2 days. Salt water flush helps to remove the waste that accumulates in the intestinal walls. For making salt water flush, add 1 tbsp. sea salt in 1 liter of water. Expect 2 to 3 bowel movement in a day.
Step 3: Follow Dietary Restrictions
While following this diet, you are not supposed to consume any solid food. Lemonade Detox Diet Recipe
2 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice
1/10 tsp. of powdered cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon of maple syrup
10 oz. of hot purified water
Mix all the ingredients; add water; stir well and drink. The maple syrup prevents oxidation of enzymes and vitamin C.
If you want to make enough concentrate for the whole day, in 12 to 14 tbsp. of lemon juice (freshly squeezed add 12-14 tbsp. of maple syrup, ½ tsp. of powdered cayenne pepper and add minimum 2 liter of water. When hunger pang strikes, sip small amount of this concentrate. Try to stick to the original diet as far as possible to get good effect.
