Here Are 5 Stunning Lace Braids
1. Side Swept Lace Braid
Make a side part and smooth down the hair. Pull out a slice of hair from the heavy side of the parted hair and begin braiding it across the head towards the other side. Include hair to the braid only from the other side through the back and not from the hairline. Continue braiding until you reach the jaw line. Secure the braid using a band at jaw line and widen the braid to make it stand out.
2. Lace Braided Bun
Draw the hair up to make a high ponytail ad secure it with a band. Pull out a small piece of hair at the rear side of the right ear. Slip the ponytail through a bun maker. Pull the hair left out at the rear of right upwards and begin creating a three strand braid. Add hair from the ponytail to the top strand of the plait. The braid should be tight at the base. Continue braiding around the bun and secure the ends with elastic. Tuck the tail portion under the braid using pins.
3. Dutch Lace Braid
Part the hair across the head from ear to ear into front section and back section. Tie up the back section and start doing a Dutch braid from one side of head. Keep the braid near the part line and add tresses to the braid only from the hairline. Continue braiding until you get to the other end. Secure the braid using bobby pins underneath the hair. Let loose the tied up hair and brush it down.
4. Lace Braid Updo
Part the hair slightly off center. Pull out a small piece of hair on one side and start braiding a lace braid just above the ears. Add hair only to the top strand and continue braiding it diagonally until you get to the opposite side. Turn the braid on reaching other end and begin braiding in the reverse direction. Now add hair only to lower strands of the braid. Braid until you get to the opposite end and do a three strand braid along the tail. Tie up the ends with a band and place the tail braid between the two lace braids, fold it if required. Use pins to lock the plait in place.
5. Lace Braid Ponytail
Gather the hair to make a high ponytail, secure it with a band and smooth down the ponytail. Wrap the band with a section of hair and lock it underneath with pins. Take a tiny section of hair along the right end of the ponytail and start braiding a three strand braid. Add hair to the plait from the left end to create a lace braid. Try to make the braid straight down. Stop adding hair at a point and braid a three strand braid till the end and secure it with a band.
