5 Homemade Fruit Face Masks to Improve Your Skin Tone



Fruits are wonderful for the skin as they are filled with essential nutrients and antioxidants. Though all fruits are good for skin, there are a few of them which are used regularly for skin treatments. Here are the recipes of five simple fruit face packs that can be prepared easily at home. 1. Peach Face Pack

Peach is loaded with minerals, vitamins and proteins, which helps moisturize the skin, eliminate dark patches and discoloration on your skin. The face pack suits all skin types. You will need egg white, peach and honey.  Blend chopped peach and add one egg white and a tbsp of honey. Mix well and spread this paste on your neck and face. Wash with cold water after 20 minutes. Your skin looks silky white, smooth and well-nourished.


2. Pineapple Face Pack

This spiky fruit gives a flawless, youthful and fair skin. The juicy fruit is packed with phenolic acids, vitamin B-6 and C. It also has bromelain, an exfoliating enzyme, which gives a natural fairness to your skin. You will need honey, lemon juice and pineapple.  Mix together 2 tbsp of pineapple paste, 1 tbsp honey and 2 tsp lemon juice. Clean your face and apply a thick coat of this paste. Leave for about 15 minutes and wash off your face. It brightens your skin tone and gives you a youthful glow.


3. Grapes-apple Pack

Cut one fresh apple into pieces and mash it together with a few grapes in a blender. Beat the fruits together until you get a soft paste. Clean your face with a wet towel and smear the fruity paste on the skin. Leave it for 30 minutes and then cleanse using lukewarm water. This will make the skin bright, wrinkle free and supple.


4. Grapes-carrot Pack

Cut cleaned carrot into small pieces and grind those to extract the juice. Combine some crushed grapes, one spoon rice flour and one spoon milk cream in a bowl. Blend the mixture in a processor if required to make a fine paste. Add in 2 tablespoon carrot juice to the grapes paste and stir well. Apply the paste on your face and clean it after 30 minutes. This pack will tighten the skin, improve skin tone, nourish it and make it supple.


5. Watermelon Face Pack

This refreshing fruit has significant amounts of vitamin C, A and lycopene. Besides fighting against skin problems like dark spots, wrinkles, it also has a whitening effect on your skin. You need apple cider vinegar and watermelon juice. Soak cotton pad with 4 tbsp watermelon juice and a tbsp apple cider vinegar. Apply the soaked cotton on the face and keep for 10 minutes. The cleanser will clear the pores, lightens spots and improves your complexion.
