Here Are 5 Homemade Face Masks For Instantly Glowing And Tight Skin

1. Chocolate Mask

As yummy as it sounds to your pallet, this face mask is great for your skin too. It works best for dry skin. For a chocolate mask, you need 3 table spoons of cocoa powder, 1 table spoon cream, 2 table spoons honey, and a quarter cup of milk. Mix all of these to form a thick paste. Apply evenly on your face and neck. Leave it on till it dries completely and then rinse with cold water. Pat dry. The milk in it reduces pigmentation while cocoa reduces wrinkles in addition to being rich in anti- oxidants. Cream deeply moisturizes your skin and honey heals acne and tightens pores.

2. Almond- Saffron Mask

A humble almond is such a blessing to your skin and hair. Almonds are powerful moisturizers and help in exfoliation. In addition they are rich in anti oxidants, proteins and omega 3 fatty acids. Soak a handful of these versatile nuts in some milk that has saffron added to it, over night. Then make a paste out of it, and apply before going to bed on your face and neck. Leave it on overnight. Wake up and lightly scrub it while rinsing off. Voila! Say hello to a brand new porcelain skin! You can make a lot of paste and store it in a jar in the refrigerator. Do this every alternate night to get baby soft and smooth skin. The saffron helps lighten your skin tone and also fights tan. All skin types can use this mask, but use it less often if you have oily skin.

A great savior for oily skin, this mask has multiple benefits. Take equal quantities of lemon juice and frozen honey and mix well. Apply on face and neck in circular motion and leave for 10 minutes. Rinse off and pat dry. Do this once a week. Lemon juice brightens the skin and fights wrinkles, while frozen honey tightens the skin and exfoliates.

4. Banana Mask

This is a great mask for all skin types. Mash half a banana in a bowl and add one table spoon of orange juice and runny honey, each to it. Mix it well and apply on your face and neck. Leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse with cold water. Do it twice a week to see reduced acne and increased glow in your skin. Both banana and orange help in reducing acne. While orange is rich in anti oxidants and works on tan, banana on the other hand fights pre mature ageing of the skin.
