The cold weather is here and you are already dreading the fact that you will have dandruff and suffer from skin outbreaks. But don’t worry, there are some simple remedies that you can try to ensure that your skin and hair look as great as it did earlier. Just keep in mind, that you have to opt for a regular routine here, especially if you live in very cold zones.
Deep skin moisturisers for the body and face are your best friends here. For those with very dry skin types, make sure that you carry some miniature versions with you to ensure that your skin always stays hydrated. You should ideally pick something with sun block to prevent skin tanning since you will be hanging out more in the sun. Try and get oil massages at least once a week for better hydration.
In the winters, it becomes very difficult to apply to curd or eggs because you can catch a cold. What you can do instead is opt for a hot oil massage with a dash of lime juice. This will combat dandruff and also prevent scalp infections. Do this twice a week for best results.
Use Baby Soap and Shampoo
Since the skin tends to lose a lot of moisture during the winter months, stick to baby soaps and shampoos or something organic. Doing so prevents natural loss of oil and you will have to worry less about skin dryness issues.
Even in the winters, the skin does need a bit of exfoliating. You really don’t have to do this everyday but once a week use almond paste and some fresh cream to exfoliate and nourish the skin. The process won’t take more than a few minutes but you will see visible results in just once use.
