1) Ginger For Strong Hair
The vitamins, minerals and fatty acids present in ginger makes hair strong thus reducing hair fall. It also promotes hair growth. Take ginger pulp and mix it with jojoba oil or just rub ginger pulp on scalp and rinse it off with shampoo after 30 minutes.
2) Onion For Hair Growth
The sulphur found in onions increases the production of collagen in the tissue of scalp. This increases hair growth. For less dense hair use one onion and if hair is dense use 2 onions. Grate the onions and squeeze the pulp with hands. Collect the water residue of onions in a container. Apply this concoction on scalp with hands or brush. Leave it for 30 minutes. Rinse with cold water.
3) Potato To Control Hair Fall
Potatoes are rich in vitamin A and B but sometimes our body fails to deliver these vitamins to our hair which results in hair fall. The procedure of applying potato on hair is similar to onion. Grate one or two potatoes according to hair thickness and squeeze out the juice of grated potato in a container. Massage this liquid on scalp and wash it off after one hour.
4) Egg As A Protein Serum
Eggs contain protein which helps in hair growth and it also contains sulphur, zinc, iron, selenium. Take two egg whites mix 4 tablespoons of coconut oil and apply it gently on wet scalp or take one egg white and whip it. Apply this mixture on scalp. Wrap a towel soaked in warm water, rinse hair after half an hour.
5) Yogurt To Control Dandruff
Yogurt has anti inflammatory properties which help in reducing hair fall. It not only reduces hair fall but also helps in nourishing dry hair, dandruff etc.Either apply plain yogurt on scalp and massage gently or add few drops of honey, lemon juice or any oil to make hair pack. Apply the pack for 1 hour and rinse thoroughly.
6) Azadirachta Indica (Neem) For A Clean And Healthy Scalp
Azadirachta indica or neem is a very useful product for hair as it has anti bacterial properties. It helps in removing dandruff, lice from hair and also keeps the scalp healthy. It also promotes hair growth. Take 10 – 15 neem leaves and boil them in water for 5 minutes. Strain the water and let it cool. Rinse hair with this water for a healthy scalp.
7) Multipurpose Aloe Vera
Almost every skin and hair product has aloe vera. It is because it helps in repairing skin and it also helps in maintaining a healthy scalp. Massage fresh aloe vera pulp on scalp and rinse off after 1 hour.
8) Green Tea For Nourishing Hair
Green tea is rich in antioxidants which help in both skin and hair nourishment. It effectively helps in hair growth. Boil 2 – 3 green tea bags in water. Let it cool, Empty this water in a spray bottle and apply on scalp. Massage gently.
9) All Time Favorite Coconut Oil
Coconut oil has lauric acid which helps in reducing almost every hair problem. Vitamin E and iron help in hair growth. Anti fungal and anti bacterial properties help in eliminating fungus and bacteria that hinder hair growth. Warm some coconut oil in a container and massage gently on scalp. Rinse it after 1 hour with shampoo.
10) Murraya Koenigii (Curry Leaves) To Revive Hair
Murraya koenigii or curry leaves are enriched with proteins, beta-carotine, amino acids and anti oxidants.They help in reducing hair fall and also moisturizes dead hair follicles to promote new hair growth. Warm 2-3 tablespoons of coconut oil in a bowl and add few fresh curry leaves in it. Heat the oil till the leaves turn black. Let it cool. Massage on scalp and rinse it off after 1 hour.
11) Coriander Leaves To Cure Baldness
These leaves are rich in vitamin C and iron. It helps in reducing hair fall . Coriander leaves also makes hair soft and reduces hairline baldness. Boil one cup of coriander leaves and one cup of water for 5 minutes. Strain this water and let it cool. Apply this mixture on scalp and rinse off after 1 hour. This mixture can also be consumed.
12) Phyllanthus Emblica (Indian Gooseberry/ Amla) The Powerhouse Of Vitamin C
Enriched with vitamin C , these promote hair growth and reduces hair fall. Mix two table spoons of amla juice with two table spoons of lemon juice. Apply this on scalp and let it dry. Wash it off with lukewarm water.
